Thank you

Your extraordinarily generous gifts and cards are hugely appreciated. Thank you so much. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to spend this last year with your children and we have been a very happy band in 2MC. Truly, you have been a very supportive group of parents and that has made an enormous difference.

It’s always hard saying goodbye because you’ve all become such a big part of my life. But hopefully you’ll wave and say hi next year as you walk past on your way to KS2! I wish you all a wonderful summer with your beautiful children.

We started making kites on Friday and we finished them today. It was such a joyful sight to see the children flying them! It could have been the 1950s…

I’m feeling a little sad…

I can’t believe it’s nearly the end of the year. I’ve had a brilliant time with your beautiful children and it has been wonderful to watch them develop and mature. I’ve said this before but it bears repeating: they are an exceptionally kind, affectionate group of little people who genuinely care about each other. In this world, at this time, I feel nothing is more important than that. Truly, it’s an incredible privilege to spend so much time with these precious people and I have loved teaching them.

But of course it’s a team effort and at no point have I felt anything less than fully supported and trusted by the parents. That’s very much appreciated.

Matthew Criddle.
